Delivery, Cancellation and Refunds

Last updated 3 August 2026

This page summarises how Torii is delivered, how to cancel, and when fees are refundable. It is a plain-language summary of the Services Agreement, which is the binding contract: where this page and the Agreement differ, the Agreement prevails.

The recurring payment itself — what is charged, when your card is charged, and that a card is stored to charge it — is set out on the separate Subscription Terms page.

Torii is sold to businesses only. By accepting the Agreement you confirm that you enter into it in the course of your trade, business, or profession and not as a consumer, so the consumer right of withdrawal does not apply.

Delivery

Torii is a digital service delivered online. There is nothing to ship, and no shipping charges apply.

Access is provisioned immediately when you sign up, and paid features become available as soon as the subscription is created — normally within seconds of the payment method being accepted. You reach the service at app.torii.so with the credentials you registered.

The free Builder tier requires no payment method and is available without a subscription. You can evaluate the service on it for as long as you like.

Billing periods and renewal

When you subscribe you choose a billing period of one month or one year. Fees are charged per organisation, across all of that organisation’s projects, and are exclusive of VAT.

The subscription renews automatically for successive periods of the same length until it is cancelled. You pay either by bank transfer against an invoice, due within 14 days, or by payment card, charged automatically at the start of each period. Card details are captured and stored by our billing provider and its payment service provider; Torii never receives or stores them.

Prices are shown on the pricing page in Danish kroner (DKK) or euro (EUR). Your billing currency is set by your registered country when you first subscribe and then stays fixed for the account.

Cancellation

You can cancel at any time from Billing in the dashboard. No notice period and no cancellation fee apply.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period: the service stays available until then, and the subscription does not renew. Fees for the remainder of the current period remain payable, so cancelling mid-period does not reduce or refund that period’s charge (Services Agreement §5.2). Your organisation then returns to the free Builder tier.

To stop paying by card, remove the card or switch back to invoicing under Billing. Removing your last card returns the account to payment by bank transfer; it does not cancel the subscription.

Refunds

Fees already paid are not refundable, except where the Services Agreement expressly provides for a refund or where Danish mandatory law requires one. In particular:

  • Early termination does not produce a refund. The remainder of the current billing period stays payable (§5.2).
  • Downtime does not produce a refund or service credit. The Agreement provides no availability guarantee and no downtime remedy (§7).
  • Unused capacity is not refunded. Plans are priced per period, not per use.
  • Third-party IP claims: if we have to withdraw part of the service because of an intellectual-property claim and cannot reasonably replace it, we terminate the affected part and refund the fees paid for it (§12.2).

Plan changes mid-period are prorated by our billing provider and settled against your next invoice rather than paid out.

Billing errors

If you think an invoice is wrong, tell us within 14 days of the invoice date. After 14 days the invoice is treated as accepted (§6.1). Where we agree an invoice was incorrect, we issue a credit note and refund or offset the difference — a genuine billing error is not covered by the no-refund rule above.

If a card charge was made in error, contact us before raising a chargeback so we can correct it directly; that is almost always faster.
